Reconnecting with a flame

I have always loved candles.... everything about them, from the ambiance they instil when they are glowing and flickering , to the experience or a memory you feel or wish to have when a room is filled with the scent of a fragrant candle. The whole romantic, calming setting. It's just perfect to me.

 I started making candles for myself a long time ago (20 years ago at least) as I loved them so much.  However, back then they were probably not perfect, but I loved them anyway. I would make them and give them away to my friends and family who were just as happy to have them as I was. It wasn't until recently I started making candles again for myself.  My son had mentioned that I should make them and have an online store so everyone can enjoy them.  So I ran with that thought ,and I have spent countless hours performing burn tests after burn tests perfecting my candles and melts.

 So I have taken his advice and started Rustic Country Candles.

I am proud to start a new venture with something that I know everyone enjoys... the love and ambiance of candles.
